Jason Chung

Jason Chung joins the Livingston Group from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), an agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

As a congressional liaison at CBP, his portfolio included the following responsibilities: border security initiatives, immigration reform policy, appropriations and cargo security programs. He also worked with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Mr. Chung served in the administration of Governor Robert L. Ehrlich of Maryland. He served in a variety of policy and administrative capacities in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1999 to 2004.

He worked on policy issues governing homeland security, defense, and foreign affairs and trade for then-Government Reform Committee Chairman Thomas M. Davis, III (R-VA).

Mr. Chung also served on the subcommittee staff of Congressman Christopher Shays (R-CT), working on communications and on oversight issues regarding combating terrorism and homeland defense.

He remains politically active and has assisted candidates seeking elective office on the local, state and federal levels. Originally from New England, Mr. Chung and his wife Susannah live in Northern Virginia. He is a graduate of Trinity College in Connecticut.
